final fantasy is very niche in japan, they dont seem to like over emotional charactars with huge eyes, at least thats what i heard.
also it has futuristic setting with robots and such, which japanese people hate.
gt5p has already shown that demos sell like dried up crap
also xbox is japan main rpg console, so jrpg lovers have mostly xboxes and they will just wait till FFXIII comes out in US and then import it from the US of A.
you might think japanese would prefer japanese version, but theyre known to speak great english.
so i expect ps3 hardware to be in the 16745-16790 range
