caught up in where? graphics? nope not yet, you wont see a difference for quite a while, the 360 actually has a stronger gpu which is used for graphics, and the ps3 has a more cpu and other things, so yes in a few years ps3 will be a little better looking, not by much.
I dont know how you can say it will fall behind fast, sales wise, gameplay wise, or graphic wise
With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B
