It will be the fastest GPU on the market but it will require its own power supply to run it since 1GB models are suspected to need 370w of power, and GPU manufacturers are planning 4GB models which means 400w requirements. CrossFireX with the HD4890X2 would mean around 800w needed. Even I cant believe that AMD has managed to make a GPU that is less energy efficient then Nvidia's GPUs... |
