Wow 57K for the PS3! that's almost the first week hardware numbers for when Metal Gear Solid 4 was released (77K), and this is just a demo lol
I think the PS3 has a shot at outselling the Wii in Japan for 2009. By the looks of it the Wii is going to be stuck at under 20K for most of the year. Even if it does come out with a big game, I highly dought it's going to shoot it back up to selling 40K - 50K every week because of any game in 2009, it'll more then likely have the same affect that most big games have on consoles, it'll have one big week then slowly go back to selling what it was normally selling. Final Fantasy XIII and possibly Gran Turismo 5 at the end of 2009 is going to make the PS3 explode in Japan, after that it should be smooth sailing of high hardware sales :)
