I'm still confused how that will help things though. I suppose each card could have an individual ID tied to it, but would you really want to enter what would almost certainly be a friend code type number for each card in your 30 card deck (it's 30 right?).
If there's no number, then I can go back to lieing and saying yeah I have 4 copies of super awesome card that kills everyone. And of course there's still no protection against any type of deck stacking or sleight of hand type tricks (which aren't hard to do).
Unless they come up with good solutions for both of those, I can really see online not being a lot of fun. And don't get me wrong, I think this is a pretty cool idea and one I do expect to play, I just don't see online being good. Imagine a M:tG deck where everyone plays channel fireball decks or Tolerian Academy decks that always get perfect hands.
