Great memories! Got my Gameboy in 1990 after my first flight back from Mauritius. Who else got a story, that he actually bought his gameboy in Africa
- The best thing: it still works!!! The safety plate over the screen is gone for long and good, but the thing itself won't die.
- And all those games: the mighty Tetris, World Cup, Super Mario Land 1 & 2, Mario Tennis, The Turtles, Robin Hood many more and my special love for a game nobody else had: Magnetic Soccer (brilliant table soccer/ foosball-sim).
- Playing rpg without understanding english etc.
-The desperate need for light, if you wanted to play and and this strange peripheral called the light boy, who solved this problem, with a small lamp attached.
- The cries, when the contact of my charger was broken again
- The incredible earphones, which I still used until 15 years after.
-All the meetings with friends for gameboy-sessions (I'm still desperate, that I never found 4 friends who had f-1 race or rc-pro-am to play it against them all)
-The need, that everybody owned the game to play it against them
HAPPY TIMES ======> Happy birthday old mate!
