Better than the MK64 battle mode, i can't concur.

I haven't looked into this much (so i might be wrong) but it seemed to me that in the battle mode, loss of your three balloons doesn't mean game over, the game just keeps score of hits taken and received.  If there isn't some way to change this then that is just a terrible design choice.  That was the core of the battle mode previously, survival.  I mean this doesn't have to be the only mode, but it should be included as an option.

And yes, teams sucks.

PlayingMK64 battel mode with 2 or 3 players was dull because it lasted about 1 minute and it was just 3 hits and out, which sucks.
It's better with 4 players because at least it lasts a bit longer.

If there is just 1 of you.... battle mode on Wii >>>>>> N64/GC battle modes (did GC have AI controlled bots? if it did then it ranks above MK64)

If there are 2 of you, it's Wii >>> N64/GC

If there are 3 of you it's GC > MK64 >> Wii

If there are 4 of you it's N64/GC >> Wii
