Maybe he has a new lady friend and hasn't gotten past the initial 'sex all day' phase. Sometimes when stuff like that happens it can be harder to care about video games sales numbers ;)
In seriousness, there needs to be someone who can fill in for him effectively while he's gone. If he's gone, who is gathering the data for the sales numbers? Without knowing this, it casts serious questions about the reliability and origin of the numbers from VGChartz itself (as opposed to the numbers VGChartz compiles).
