1. No. 2. Sony invented family gaming? If you are in fact 40 as your profile suggests i can only assume you were in a coma for the first 35 years. 3. Show me the proof, this is unsubstantiated fluff. 4. The Gamecube was no match for these systems how? In sales compared to the PS2, i'll pay that but the Xbox only marginally outsold the Gamecube. If you are talking in technical terms, it was mid-way between the two, so wrong again. 5. Real, is this the new hardcore? I think you'll find plenty of real gamers on this website who play alot of games and are Wii clients. 6. I don't even know what this means but hardware limitations will nearly always take a backseat to creative limitations. 7. If Nintendo is 'lucky' as you put it, then they have been lucky for over a hundred years, making it the luckiest company in the history of the world. While some call it luck, most call it good business sense. 8. Wii sales WILL start to decline but it's also quite possible that they MAY start to rise first.

I also want to have a stab at Laffer.
1. Wii is more powerful than the GC, which was more powerful than the PS2.
2. Even if Nintendo "stole" Sony's "family games", then they still wouldn't be even for the clear copying Sony has done, i.e. the analog stick, Motion sensing (Powerglove, Woot.), the basic controller design for the Playstation was taken from the SNES design.
3. Really? Friends of mine were using the Powerpad way before Sony decided to get into gaming. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_Pad So no, Sony did not create fitness games. Stop BSing.
4. I have full knowledge of the techinal capabilities of gaming consoles, as do all of the Wii owners I know.
5. Already been mentioned.
6. Zelda. Metroid Prime 3. Two right there.
7. I don't know what you meant. At all. Um.. Yeah, all I can say is that Nintendo is good at buisness.
8. I doubt that.
