Yea the depth is there, it has a very addicting quality to it.

At first I quit the game because I wasn't winning... I got stuck and Yan-Kut Ku (The very first fake Wyvern) it kept busting my behind, I couldn't afford to make the next weapon, and the parts to make it required me to at least beat the Yan-Kut Ku.

(All the armors and weapons are made from stuff you mine, fish, bug hunt or poach or whatever.)

So I decided to load up on potions and bombs, the whole works for one last ditch effort and failed horribly.

As outlaw said, the camera control really does suck - eventually I got back into the game, and decided to try the Yan-Kut Ku again, then I figured out the formula for some reason, and was able to dodge or block most of his heavy hits and needless to say I was happy with my victory.

To me the first 1 on 1's were always the epic fights, because you don't know what the Wyvern will do, especially the more complex ones that utilize their options like Monoblos or Khezu or even the Diablos.

The engrossment for me comes from the survival feeling. The repetition starts when you have to milk a wyvern for it's stuff so you can make your gear.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.
