Ghouls 'n Ghosts is insanely hard but then Capcom had the balls to make the game even more difficult when they released Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts on the SNES that game is one of the hardest games ever I can't get past the first level. The Ninja Gaiden games on the NES also qualify as one of the most overrated hard games.
