sony owns publishing right for anything FF 7 related and also were publisher of the PS FF7, also probably the reason Crisis core didn't go to the DS even with the biggest base.

Someone with over 4000 posts should know better.

Hint: Eidos published the PC version of FF7. I don't think anyone even remotely thinks Eidos owns the publishing rights to FF7 (after the takeover they might...)
