You're really better off using the PC version of the series. I think the last version came out in February 2008. It's easier to navigate because of the mouse. The menu system is pretty good. You can write custom code and import code from others to create limitless types of RPGs and situations, plus, something the Playstation titles never offered, you can share your created games.
Plus you can rip sprites from emulated games to create new versions of existing RPGs.
The specs to use the software are freakishly low. Even if you can't run World of Warcraft, you can run this.
