Basically, FFVII could fit on two to three N64 carts if the data was compressed a hell of a lot, but the price for each copy would be horrible.

It was really lucky the Gameboy used a different format, which is why their carts didn't cost as much, and taking off from there ensure the DS had great profit margin with its games.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
