Let me get this straight.
You're complaining that the Wii iteration of the video game representation of a family movie is done in a family friendly art style? Do I have that correct? A family movie - family friendly art style. And you're complaining and demanding respect for the Wii of developers by suggesting they use a realistic art style on Wii of a family oriented movie.
OK, now that we have the facts, carry on.

Yeah, you did not read the whole thread. Why would you? That would be a huge waste of time.

I did up to that post (and I'll likely read the rest) and I can honestly say it was a waste of time. Aside from MadKiller contradicting himself, I think this thread really comes down this: the Wii is damned no matter what happens.
- The developer can do something like Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and go for the same look as the HD consoles and get ridiculed for looking like shit.
- The developer can go for a stylized look that sets it apart from the HD consoles and they get ridiculed for not trying to look like the HD games.
Did I get that about right?
By the way, love the Wii trailer just released today!

Go look at screen shots from some orignal xbox games, those game even hold up today. There is no reason Wii games can't look that good.

Xbox had the advantage of being an x86 processor and a DirectX8 based GPU. This allowed developers to easily write code that brought out quality graphics. The GC and Wii utilize a fixed function TEV enabled GPU which means all shader work must be re-written to take advantage of it and most developers either didn't budget that financially or timely to do so. This is why a lot of GC and Wii games had a flat shaded look to characters and environments except for those with the biggest budgets who actually put forth the effort.

I criticize because i care. If you knew anything about the original joke its base off of, then you would know its not supposed to be funny.

If context would help, provide a link to give it the background required to understand the joke (or non-joke). Otherwise it paints a bad picture of you personally instead of what you probably intended to portray.

Correct. The HD versions do not have co-op that we know of.
