I think it has a chance. Some people are saying it won't because it does not have Master Chief. But what it does have is the name Halo in it. Take for instance Halo Wars. I know a ton of people that were pumped for this game before they even knew it was an RTS. For an RTS game on a console it sold quite well. This was due to the fact that it had Halo in the name.
Also, ODST is a stand alone expansion. So most people will view it as a new Halo game altogether.
