Why would Nintendo worry about crashing. Sales are great, not so much in Japan but they still have a lot of tricks they can pull, not to mention good software will arrive throughout the year.
Even in the worst case scenario, Nintendo has survived worse crashes. They have a huge amount of money in the bank, and their expenses are low since they're mostly a software company and outsource the capital-intensive parts like manufacturing.
