I've never really cared about what stats my units have (I mean, which general/paladin/swordsman is better when I have several, I just picked from which character I liked).
I just checked up my Matthew's stats compared to the average...
Stat - My matthew - average Matthew
Hp - 35 - 36
Str - 6 - 11
Skl - 10 - 12
Speed - 2 - 21
Luck - 10 - 12
Def - 8 - 10
Res - 5 - 6
Not one single stat is as good as the average (of a level 3 assassin).
Same thing with my Nino, doesn't tie (or beat) a single stat.
My Farina has turned out oddly. She normally has roughly equal Def and Res (normally 3 levels higher res at my level). Well... Mine's at 14 def and 24 res. She essentially beats the hell out of anything magic (with her 23 str, and blessed Str and skill too).
Hmm... I might do some math to see what the odds are of Guy ending out inferior to Karel (my Guy is also cursed with his stats).
