That's not the case. The song was written by a Muslim, but it had passages from the Qur'an, and there is some disagreement between Muslims as to whether or not that's kosher (no pun intended). If you'll remember, the guy who wrote to Sony about the thing to begin with, asking them to remove the song, was a Muslim- and to his credit, he was quite polite and respectful about it.
