The games will move systems but they don't really matter that much. They finaly satisfied demand. But only just, and it is almost october. It is findable but they aren't sitting on the shelves of all the possible stores . The holiday rush starts the end of next month. It gets ealier every year. The fact that I am seeing Xmas decorations in stores means people are starting to buy gifts. My guess is that by black friday they will be gone, and we will be back to people waiting outside stores for shipments. That said I don't think the big casual push will drive the aftermarket price too high. I am guessing $350 or so. That is what a couple friends of mine paid last holiday. Although it was dampened by PS3 hype ther are supposed to be more consoles this year than last.
Final* Word on Game Delays:
The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.
Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.
Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.
