The problem is that with these ultimate graphics near realism(nba live 08, and 2k8) the games dont play as good as they did before, the framerate drops to the 30fps range(when its uspposed to be 60fps). NBA 08 is my favorite demo thus far, with not so great graphics, but the best gameplay out of all of them.
