The article says the Wii is the most affordable console by far. I don't understand that, here in Europe the 360 Premium is about the same price as the Wii, and the 360 Arcade is cheaper. Last I checked the situation is not very different in the US. So how is the Wii trying or needing to be the cheapest console?
Anyway... if demand drops Nintendo can easily drop the price anytime (or add bundles or colors before that).
