Because VGchartz overtracked wii quite a bit. I think they undertracked 360 too.

Nintendo said they shiped 50 M Wiis which was a couple of weeks ago, so posting right now that they sold approximately 48.86 M Wiis is not "overtracked quite a bit" that actually sounds pretty accurate. 

So I say "proof or never happened" before pulling stuff out of your ass ;).
