I'd have to agree. FPS aren't Japan's style, never were. I can't think of a single Japanese FPS that's even been made, because every single one has pretty much been American-made, and none have ever done well in Japan.
They need to advertise games like Viva Pinata and stuff like that in Japan. That's what will do well there.
