On many of the gaming websites in Japan, there are big ads for Halo 3. I think this is doing more harm than good for the 360's image in Japan.
Since I know quite a few Japanese people, I've asked them why they don't like the 360. Most of them say because there are too many first person shooters and games Japanese don't care about. In the past, Halo has usually sold 100k in Japan - probably mostly to US service men and people abroad there.
All the advertising of halo is just strengthening the FPS image in Japan, which is not a good thing. What do you think?
