How has wii "completely changed the market"? It has expanded the market to some degree but that's about it.

 

casual games like Wii Fit and Mario Kart are now selling 15 million and more because of Wii, this is a complete change!!

Wii Fit outsold the GTA IV by far, Mario Kart outsold by far Halo 3 and it won't stop, how is that not a big change!?

best selling games this gen are mostly casual games than hardcore, and this is huge change!

 

Wii is going to fly in market share when Wii Sports Resort and motion plus comes out

 

As far as I know, mario kart is considered a "core game" with casual appeal. Well anyway, that sounds more like expanding the market than changing it. Traditional games are still selling, you know?

You just hope it will, in reality it will most likely not. :)

 

Mario Kart is a core game!? i though it was childish for 3 year olds, that's what core gamers were saying when GTA IV and Mario Kart were launching the same week, GTA IV was the perfect game, it was expected to kill the Wii

casual games are selling more, gaming is no more just about swords, guns, blood,  monsters, aliens, because of Nintendo, Ds and Wii, and this is what the change is

Wii Sports is the most popular game ever until now, Wii Sports Resort is a true improvement, obviously it will be huge, it should not be underestimated as with Wii, Wii Fit and Mario Kart
