Japan is still the front of the gaming industry by a country mile but in terms of sales it is being more and more irrelevelant.

I've lived in Japan for 17 years and our economy has been bad for years, these poor sales did not start when the recession hit NA and EU. I have you know that I watch BBC news every day at 6pm. -_-

Also dream on reask, the hardware bump has to do with the 360 getting a 256mb arcade model, numbers will be down again soon enough.
