| Jboy0990 said: How can they be more popular when more people own a 360 My opinion isnt wrong you're not realizing what I'm saying RE5 sold more on ps3 than 360 so i don't see what you're talking about Uncharted 2 hasn't came out yet Modern Warfare 2 hasn't come out yet So what sequels are you talking about I can almost guarantee those will sell more than those 360 games Also where is MGS4, CoD4, CoD:WaW, and RE5 on that list? I'm gonna say this once more so maybe just maybe it will get thru ur head There are more 360s than ps3s right? Well since there are more that means their games will sell more than ps3 games what do you expect 1 person to buy 3 Uncharted games or something? The gap between 360 and ps3 is 8 million. 8 million dude There is a big gap and those 8 million all could have bought those 4 games you mentioned? I know about 7.5 million of them had to have gotten Halo so there is 7.5 million right there So once again of course 360 is sellin more games BECAUSE MORE PEOPLE OWN THEM |
Resistance, Ratchet and Clank, and Motor Storm all had a sequel. I'd say good chance Uncharted 2 will sell less than the original as well.
Well in regards to RE5, that's proof a bigger userbase will not always sell more copies. By the way Capcom games in general seem to do better on the PS3 thanks to Japan.
Sony didn't develop or publish MGS4, CoD4, CoD: WaW, and RE5.
The original Halo sold about 6 million copies. That's means about 1/4 Xbox owners had it. About 1/3 Xbox 360 owners have Halo 3. A PS3 games has to sell about 5.25 million copies for 1/4 to own it right now. Sony hasn't released a game that has sold 5 million copies yet. Resistance is their best selling game at 3.58 million and that's thanks to bundling. And as the PS3 userbase grows for some reason Sony sequels (not 3rd party sequels) seem to sell less.
