I guess the worst thing about his "prediction" is that he really does not quantify anything.
As most people have said, it won't sell as many as the portable series combined. It probably will not reach the numbers of the top selling portable game. Of course since there are almost 2x PSPs than there are Wiis in Japan, that should not be surprising.
But basically, his prognostication is so vague, that it almost cannot be wrong. And that is wrong.

Also wrong is being dismissive of a million-selling game -- Animal Crossing in Japan.
