Monster Hunter has sold almost 6 million units on the PSP in Japan, across three titles. Monster Hunter 3 should be able to move at least a million, and maybe two million, but I don't think it can match MH2G's staggering 3 million sales in Japan.
Now, if Capcom can crack the worldwide market with this title, then it might very well become the biggest Monster Hunter worldwide. I believe Nintendo expressed interest in helping Capcom promote this game in NA and EU markets.
