"Sucker Punch Productions has confirmed that inFamous, the sweet-looking open-world quest for PS3, has gone gold.
This comes after Sony earlier this week pinned the game down for a May 26 release in the States. A UK release is yet to be announced.
Sony has also confirmed that a demo for the game will hit PSN for everyone to download from May 21 - although pre-orders "at participating retailers" (in the US) will be given the option of accessing the demo from May 7.
Hopefully we'll see a similar deal over here."

I keep being astonished at how soon games go gold compared to when they are released...
