SCEA will only replace with the same model. If you send in a broken 60 gig, they send you are refurbished 60 gig. They won't let you "downgrade" to a different model. Also, it costs $150 to "repair" your console with SCEA. What are the benefits of buying an extended service plan from a retailer?
