Well, that's my impression from FE7 anyway. This game's tough! Especially if you are like me and refuse to let anyone die, ever.

I'm playing through on Hector's Mode for the fist time. Hector is manly! Manly. Also his mode is much harder than Eliwood's, possibly because Hecto himself is the last Lord to level up. I'm going through the mission to get the Armads now. I spent the last mission getting Nino more than 20 levels befoe taking on Lloyd.

Canas is probably the best boss-killer I have, thanks to Luna ignoring defense.

Anyway, this game is hard. I bet the rest of the series is about this hard.

Let's talk about Fire Emblem.

 

FE7 is the easiest one.

What? No, no - it's not. FE9 and FE8 are both easier than it.

 

And Arena Abusing is simply using the Arena a lot.

 

Well FE7 and 8 are both pretty easy. Try FE6 that one was the king of cheap deaths.

 

 

 I've played FE4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 an 11.

FE6 isn't really a lot harder than FE7. It has a few tricky maps, but most are FE7 difficulty.

 

Edit:

Oh, and just skip Fiona and the Pegasi knights. They're not very usefull in FE7. Pick one of the cavaliers instead.

Where did you find an english patch fro 5? I've never found a compleated one.

 

"FE11" was FE 1 BTW.
