Just as mathematically possible as the PS3 beating the X360.
8 million gap currently, and they are selling very similar sales figures weekly, so if one pulls ahead weekly the gap could either get smaller or bigger.
if it gets smaller and the PS3 eventually beats the X360 by 5 million then the change from now has been 13 million in PS3s favour. If the opposite happens then it will be 13 million in X360s favour and thus a 21 million lead. (although if you had looked at the OP properly it is actually a 19 million unit lead he predicts)
IMO neither console will have had a 13 million "favour" over the other by 2011.... perhaps by the end of the generation when they stop sellling (like late 2012) but not by 2011. IF the sales turn in favour of the PS3 then I think at best it will be only just catching the X360 by the end of 2011, so only an 8 million "favour".... so if the opposite happened then the X360 would have a 16 million unit lead.
