This game will pull a KZ2 for sure, exceed the harsh pressures of hype and the prototype haters.

 

whoa whoa, take it easy there, guy. Don't start making unrealistic expectations, or you'll get called out on it. I'm very hyped for Infamous (have been talking it up to my buddies for awhile now) but even I don't see it getting KZ2 reviews (92). IMO it will probably land around 85 or so. If you meant that it will sell as good as KZ2, again, I don't see that happening. Not only is it not a big hyped up shooter (apparently shooters are the only thing that sells nowadays...how I hate it), it has a stiff competition from a similar game in Prototype launching a couple weeks after that. Prototype will steal some sales from Infamous, I'm pretty sure about that.

That's exactly why I don't want to board the hype train. I don't want to deal with the people saying "infamous will flop" or "infamous didn't get __ on metacritic! it's terrible!" I think it'll be one of the best games for me this year. I don't think everyone in the forums will actually like it, and I'm okay with that. I dunno. 

oh! also, just letting you know, the game officially went gold tonight. I'm signed up to suckerpunch's twitter. :)

 

the main purpose of this hype train is to get those people who dont know about the game informed. Hopefully they will like what they see, if not then they will just go elsewhere. no biggy ^^.
