Don't try and cover you terrible and inaccurate analogy by re-interpreting what other people have said.

For reference, here is a post of mine regarding SO4 written prior to my post in this thread.

SO4 is a Japanese Role Playing game.  Some would call MGS4 a stealth game (for which there are decent selling precedents on the Xbox 360), others would more accurately call the latest MGS installment a shooter.  The only shooters on the Xbox 360 that had comparable hype too MGS4 are Gears (less hype) and Halo (more hype). 

If you would like too see how those games did, I think you'd find you're downplaying the ability of the Xbox 360 too shift hyped shooters.
