I think all Montana is trying to say is that there are people who are on here that he respects the opinions of but when sales get involved, they sometimes go into extremist fanboy mode, which is not anything that montana wants anything to do with. It's lowering yourself to the trolls level by acknowledging them or acting like they do.

 

Except, his first response only implied that one shouldn't respond to trolls.  Then he said he doesn't expect everyone to have his ability to ignore trolls. 

In any event, this thread (and to whatever other similar posts/threads Montana was referring) is definitely not trolling.  And that wasn't even the original criticism; it was an "I-told-you-so" attitude, directed towards a group of people he acknowledged would take an ability to ignore that he would not assume everyone had.
