I had to come out a couple of times because the earlier floors really trick you into underestimating the later ones. This side-quest was the last thing I did before going on to finally beat the game, so I was pretty nicely leveled too. |
I did most of the Pit before I cheesed and abused Danger but when I did it I made it a point to always come out after finding something good. I forget which enemies they were but a few had some nasty attacks that could end your game in one turn while there was nothing you could do about it.
