Great news. This game is actually my most wanted Wii game currently, and this means quite a lot after the disappointment the original Crystal Chronicles was for me.
This game seems to make everything right what the first one failed to though, it actually has a main character with a personality, not just a nameless hero, and it seems to be an action-adventure instead of a dungeon-crawler.
I still think that Square-Enix started to put a lot more effort into this game after they realised how successful the Wii was. This would explain the long development time and why the game was non-existant for a while. Anyways, this is definitely a so-called "AAA game".
