I try to buy only one game a month, but that's turned into just one Wii game and one DS game, or two cheap Wii games, or three used DS games, etc.
I buy from various local retailers, mostly smaller stores.
I try to finish all my games eventually, but I don't wait until I clean my plate before ordering seconds.
I rarely trade my games back. Mostly just the ones I didn't like much or the ones which are obsolete (eg, traded in my GC Metroid games in anticipation of the New Play Control versions).
