 to have the most precise and responsive controll, coz boxing in wii sports wasnt that great controll wise and i'm not sure they can do a better job in Punch Out without wm+.

I don't understand. From what I've gotten, Wii Motion+ would not really improve any punching motion at all, but rather give possibilities for new motions to be incorporated. Have I gotten it wrong?

 

Indeed you are correct, buttons and the analog stick are used for different punches with the nunchuk/wiimote being used to actually punch depending on what buttons you're holding.
