360 has played its trump cards in terms of price. All that is left is to virtually gave them away for free. I suspect the next generation wont happen until 2013. By then I expect PS3 to have a lead over XBox but not a significant one. |
They haven't even droped the system to 45nm much less combined the CPU and GPU... hell even the daughter chip is still seperate fromt he GPU. They have lots of room to lower the price. This isn't even taking into account a redesign of their Arcade model(360Slim?) wich would fit in perfectly with their plans. A complete switch to solid state would allow them to put a decent amount of memory on the Arcade at almost no cost to them. Like I said in my last post... dreaming doesn't make it real.
