I've never played Magna Carta. I just knew about it because the character designs where...."interesting." X-Play put it best. The men looked like women and the women looked like porn stars.
Despite it's flaws, I really enjoyed Ninety Nine Nights. The frame rate did get bogged but only when their were huge numbers of enemies on screen. My main two problems with the game was the utter uselessness of your army. They were basically their for appearance. The story was could have been better as well. I liked how the story varied slightly depending on which character you used but it was pretty spartan. Although, I never did manage to finish the final "hidden" stage with Inphyy. Hopefully the sequel will keep what worked in N3 and fix what didn't.
