I have the opposite opinion. Tretton, especially during the E3 interviews, always seemed very cordial and down-to-earth.
David Reeves has been responsible for many of the "PR gaffes" throughout the PS3's development and life. I have no idea if he was more susceptible than most, but he has garnered a few headlines.

I have no knowledge of their proficiency in regards to management, but this looks like a good decision on the surface.

I agree with Quickdraw, Reeves seems to put out alot of blunders this generation.
