I'm going to go against the flow here lol. Get a GC because you seem unsure about the Wii otherwise you wouldn't have asked. The GC is cheap and the games are at good prices. You can play all the GC games and then along the way when you decide a Wii is worth purchasing there is no harm done. You can keep the controllers and games. You can sell off the games on Ebay and make money back to buy the Wii later. You can keep the GC for the GBA player and buy a Wii anyway so you can play Wii games. Do whatever you like because the choices are endless.
Or like many others said just buy a Wii ;)
