I'm kinda liking Wii HD too. It runs just like from Nintendo to Super Nintendo, and i can see the logo

2011: see my thread on the subject from yesterday

Modified Wiimote and Nunchuk with a more advanced version of motion plus, maybe including some sort of extra camera or microphone or somethign

Yes. Unless Sony and Microsoft come up with something really disruptive, Nintendo's momentum should carry them through. This is how its always been.

Gen 1 to Gen 2: Atari carried the momentum from the Pong name to bring the recognition to the 2600
Gen 2 to Gen 3: Nintendo changes the image of the video game system, and so upsets the order
Gen 3 to Gen 4: Nintendo carries the momentum, allowing them to beat the "cooler" Genesis
Gen 4 to Gen 5: Sony disrupts everything with a more open, 3rd-party oriented platform with media capabilities
Gen 5 to Gen 6: Sony carries the momentum again, that's how they crushed the Dreamcast's lead, and that's how the gen was basically decided even before the Xbox and GameCube were out
Gen 6 to Gen 7: Nintendo disrupts again

So either Sony or Microsoft come up with something completely new, or they lose. If they just try to make "Wii, but better!" they're going to lose.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
