Stop trying to paint the Wii audience as superior.

Sorry MontanaHatchet, but i am a bit offended by your remark. I never stated that the Wii audience was superior, I simply made an observation that many of the top million sellers on the X360 are yearly updates of the same game, a point that can refute. I also stated that this is of lesser extent on the Wii, which again, is true. I simply stated the facts, and offered no opinion as to the superiority of one gamer or console over another.

I would also like to mention that just about every gaming site is filled with 90% non Wii users who constantly complain that the Wii has no good games, that third parties don't sell on the Wii, that the Wii is a fad, that the Wii is last gen, that the Wimote is a gimmick, that Nintendo destroyed the video game market, etc. etc. etc. Mostly, i see Nintendo fans argue for the same level of respect as the other consoles, not for more respect.  NB. On this site i see it to a lesser extent, probably because there is a more equal distribution of console owners.

But lets be honest MontanaHatchet. If you comment anytime someone shows a bias toward a system, i am surprised that the forum is not filled with comments by you telling X360 owners and PS3 owners (along with Wii owners) to stop acting superior. My arguments offer at least some level of foundation, unlike most other user comments.

I'm offended by your comments. That's why I wrote this response. Of course you never outright stated the Wii audience is superior, but you definitely implied it. Stating that an audience likes to play the same game over and over again is not a charming notion, especially when it's not true (at least not any more true than for any other audience). I explained to you why the 360 has this situation. It's because it's been out a year longer and has had more opportunity for these sequels to come out. The PS2 and PS1 are full of high selling sequels, does that mean that those audiences don't like variety, or that they like to play the same games over and over? No. It means that the system has established franchises that many people trust and buy when the next iteration comes out. The second paragraph doesn't matter to me because it has nothing to do with anything. You want to complain about people hating on the Wii? Complain about people hating on the PS3 or 360 too.

I don't comment any time someone shows bias towards a system. However, I do comment when I feel like it in threads where I see it. That's the magic of a forum. By the way, if you're trying to paint me as bias, you'd do well to look at yourself first. You won't see me bothering PS3 and 360 owners that insult the Wii because I don't take them seriously. Most of their comments are nothing more than bad cliches or trolling attempts that I won't even dignify. Your comments are a load of pretentious crap and they're not even accurate, so I felt like arguing against them. If you can't even defend your own points than that's your problem.
