I honestly hadn't made that connection until you brought it up. While I doubt Nintendo would actually do this (seems a mite insensitive to release a game where you're trying not to kill your captain...) I'll admit that it'd be funny if that was the reasoning.

 

It's great if you have a big group of people at your house.  Probably one of my best party game I own.   In single player mode it is really crappy, because the purpose of the game is to beat someone else.  It would be a great game if it offered online.  Since it doesn't offer online it is only good 7.5/10. 

My buddies and I would play this at the bar quite a bit, and it was 75 cents a person every play.  Which got pretty expensive along with all the beer we drink LOL!
