Xbox 360 has been more successful then Playstation 3 in the last 2 years, Xbox 360 was dominating Playstation 3 in both hardware & software sales but 2009 has been dry for Xbox.
According to a series of recent reports by the research group DFC Intelligence, the game industry is poised to see enormous overall growth in 2009,DFC estimates that the videogame market will swell to $47 Billion by 2009, a 42 percent increase over the $33 billion generated by the industry in 2006. That forecast includes revenue from videogame hardware and software.
As we all know that Playstation 3’s this year exclusive line-up is great and is already helping Sony get some decent sales, But Microsoft seems to be doing nothing in order to get their share from that $47 Billion there is no exclusive that is sure to make a splash this year.
I think Microsoft is already too late even if they announce some exclusives or yet another batch of (Paid For Exclusive DLC’s) they won’t be able to release them this year, I would suggest that we should sit back and relax this year and hope that next year won’t be the same as this.
I am sure Microsoft have some aces up their sleeves but shouldn’t they be rolled out by now.
