Gamecube had decent third party support.  Not as much as the PS2, but enough.  Good quality titles.

Eternal Darkness was published by Nintendo.

Soriku will eat you alive for forgetting Tales of Symphonia.

 

Who cares who published it, Nintendo didn't make it.

Right, I'm sure Silicon Knights made it for free.

Edit: To be more clear, at the time Silicon Knights were a 2nd party developer for Nintendo, thus Eternal Darkness is not a 3rd party game.
